Discovery Bluff er eit kjenneleg nes på vestsida av innløpet til Avalanche Bay i Granite Harbour i Victoria Land. Det vart oppdaga av Discovery-ekspedisjonen (1901) under Robert Falcon Scott, som kalla det «Rendezvous Bluff». Det vart gjeve nytt namn etter skipet «Discovery» av den andre ekspedisjonen til Scott, Terra Nova-ekspedisjonen.[1]

What is the offset in a seaplane's hull?

43 1 $begingroup$ I noticed there is a little offset in a seaplane's hull (highlighted in the following picture). I suppose this is useful as it exists in all the seaplanes I know.
