Olivia Newton-John (fødd 26. september 1948) er ein britiskfødd, australsk songar, låtskrivar og skodespelarinne. Ho har vunne Grammyprisen fire gonger og har fem førsteplassar og ti andre topp 10-plasseringar på den amerikanske Billboard Hot 100-lista for singlar[1] og to album på toppen av Billboard 200-albumlista. Elleve av singlane hennar (mellom anna to platinaplater) og 14 av albuma hennar (av dei to platina og fire doble platina) har selt til gullplate. Ho har gjort suksess innan fleire sjangrar, som pop, country og adult contemporary, og har seld kring 100 millionar plater, noko som gjer ho til ein av dei mestseljande artistane gjennom tidene.[2] Ho spelte i lag med John Travolta i filmutgåva av Broadway-musikalen Grease, som gav eit av dei mest suksessrike filmmusikkalbum i historia til Hollywood.
Newton-John har lenge vore ein aktivist for miljø og dyrerettar. Etter at ho overlevde brystkreft i 1992,[3] har ho vore ei talsperson for helse, og ha vore involvert i mange veldedige hendingar, helseprodukt og innsamlingsaksjonar.
