A word for a something that is given, but cannot be expended
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ margin-bottom:0;
}
I am trying to come up with the right word to describe this; it's like a resource, but not quite. It can be gained, or dealt, but not spent or expended.
- Money is a resource; it can be earned and spent.
- Reputation is not quite the same; it can be earned, but not "spent".

Reputation certainly can be spent, depending on how you look at it. You can "spend" (waste) your reputation doing immoral or questionable things, for example.
