Is there any one-word -ing replacement for f***ing in “Just f***ing shut up”?
I f***ing hate niacin
Something that sounds offensive, not quaint or archaic; I don't want it to suggest modesty or extra patience. Not necessarily too formal (I suspect this is not possible anyway), just as far as possible from anything as ridiculously penile as "f***ing". Something else than effing too or any other tricks that betray euphemistic scruple or other signs of weakness.
While I favor an -ing, I can tolerate some -eds too.
